DESCRIPTION: WW - Patek Philippe Tegolino, Genève, ref 2461, circa 1940s, manual wind, 22mm x 42mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold snap back case faceted sides, engraved initials on rear, black leather strap, refinished silvered dial with applied gold baton indices, 18J cal 9-90, Genève sealed movement, case s#2600858, movement s#977254, triple signed. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 19.7 dwt (30.7 g). The original owner of this watch was Dr. George W. Teuscher, a pioneer in the field of pediatric dentistry and former Dean of Northwestern University School of Dentistry. Truly an interesting fellow with a long and successful career.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide; excellent refinished dial with light surface spotting; excellent gold hands; polished case shows very little wear, no dents or dings; modern oversized Calatrava cross crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal.
